All About Mad Brenda

MadBrenda consists of Tom Foster, his two daughters, Torie (17) and Sam (16), and his guitar teacher and friend Matt Aub, who joined recently. For more than seven years, the group has worked hard to find their groove, combining everyone’s creativity and inspiration into MadBrenda’s musical creations. Tom provides mindblowing riffs while Matt thickens our sound with the aid of his own guitar. Sam sings her heart out and proudly struts her bass. Torie, the drummer, has proudly been called a human metronome.

MadBrenda is not only a band, but also a family. We were established by our dedication to creating music, and by our love and care for one another. It’s through our commitment to each other and to everyone involved that the band has flourished. 

We play everything from the White Stripes, Blink-182, AC/DC, U2, and Goldfinger to our very own musical makings, including “Pity,” “Cancer Stick,” and “Psychcotic Reaction.” Each band member has written an original, which serves to make our own songs distinct and different from other bands you’ve heard. 

We may not be the “typical” definition of a rock band, but we certainly take pride in the fact that we are unique. We really know how to have a good time, and love to perform. We will even play free of charge – perhaps that demonstrates how enthusiastic we are about making music. As far as the event goes, we’ll play almost anything.
